Nathan Blong

Nathan Blong is an Associate Principal at Uzun+Case in Atlanta, GA and a licensed Professional and Structural Engineer who works closely with architects and project teams to deliver thoughtful, buildable structural solutions across high-rise, hospitality, retail, higher education, convention centers, and long-span entertainment venue projects. His experience spans a range of structural systems, with focus on structural steel alongside concrete, masonry, timber, and precast. Nathan is known for engaging early with design teams, navigating competing project priorities, and adapting to evolving conditions while maintaining alignment with the architectural vision. Within Uzun+Case, he leads the firm’s BIM and AI Committees and contributes to broader technical initiatives that advance design workflows and knowledge sharing. He also serves as Secretary of the Georgia Chapter of the Structural Engineering Institute (SEI) and is an active participant in the structural engineering community.
